Interfaith Panel on Human Trafficking

On February 8 we celebrate the Feast Day of St. Josephine Bakhita who is the Patron Saint for Victims of Trafficking. An event at the Catholic University held in honor of this celebration will include a Mass and an ecumenical prayer service/panel. The Mass will provide an opportunity to reflect on the life and importance of St. Josephine Bakhita and to celebrate Holy Communion with your fellow Catholics.

The prayer service/panel will provide Christian faith leaders an opportunity to bring their collective wisdom, experiences, and ethical perspectives to the problem of human trafficking. It will foster meaningful dialogue, raise consciousness, urge our support of migrants, and advocate for the safeguarding of vulnerable populations.

Both events will take place at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. No registration is required if you are attending in person; registration links for the livestream are available below.
